Kate Hudson has been documenting her post-baby fitness journey since welcoming her third child seven months ago. Shortly after her daughter Rani Rose was born, Kate took to Instagram to share her personal body goals with her followers.
"I will be shooting a film in the spring and I’m looking to shed 25lbs. I’d like to try new workouts and eat as healthy as I can. I wanna do all this and keep up milk production, raise my kids, work everyday, make time for my man, have girlfriend time and stay sane!" Kate wrote at the time.
As she worked to achieve her goals, Kate kept her followers up to date on her progress. Just last month, Kate took to Instagram once again to share that she was "almost there" but wasn't "done yet" on working towards her fitness goals. “I’m a couple [pounds] from goal weight,” Kate wrote. “I’ve done it without stressing on food or working out like crazy although I have been disciplined. Sharing the little parts of my wellness journey with you makes me feel oh so good. I can only hope that what I put out there can make you feel good and bring encouragement in return.”
Now, Kate is showing off her progress once again. She shared a mirror selfie highlighting her killer abs just seven months after giving birth. "Bored on set...?" Kate captioned the shot. "Take some weird mirror selfies in the trailers bathroom."
It seems likely this is the project Kate wanted to lose 25lbs for, however, the 40-year-old actress did not reveal what she's working on. Kate is known as rom-com queen, though, so perhaps we have to look forward to?
